W Investment purchased an iconic, historic building in downtown El Dorado, Kansas however it didn’t completely align with the owner — David Wernli’s modern palette. However David knew that Tyler Norris Creative could help achieve the modern design for the interior he had in mind. The existing interior had been beautifully restored by the previous owner, with its original marble clad walls and oak moldings and David wanted to keep those historic elements while juxtaposing them with modern elements.
Tyler Norris ended up delivering a design that did just that — it honored the original historic finishes while adding modern elements that aligned with exactly what David had in mind. The walkthrough rendering below was delivered to David along with a print for reference, and he with his contractor executed the design flawlessly.
